Essex Junction outscored eight district tournament opponents by a 71-10 margin before sweeping to three consecutive wins at the state tournament. The league earned its second state championship in three years, and its fourth overall.

Essex Junction scored all of its championship game runs in the third inning. Adam Picard's two-run single provided the game's first scoring, and Alex Herko added an RBI single later in the inning. Essex Junction had seven hits in the championship game, all of them singles and all by different players.

Essex Junction reached the state championship game with a 7-2 victory over Burlington American in the winner's bracket finals. In that first meeting, Essex Junction managed only three hits, but capitalized on five errors and three hit batsmen to claim the win. The District 3 champions took a 4-1 lead after four innings despite having only one hit at the time, and pulled away with a three-run rally in the fifth. Zac Poland's two-run single keyed the fifth inning rally, while Herko contributed his teams' other two hits. Picard scattered five hits in a complete game effort on the mound, striking out six and enjoying error-free defensive support.

Ben Majors drilled a solo home run for Burlington in the third inning, while David Rose doubled and scored in the sixth.

Essex Junction opened the state tournament with an 8-1 win over Lyndonville Little League. Poland and Herko combined on a one-hitter, while Picard and Bryce Currier each had three hits to pace their team's thirteen-hit attack. Piccard had a pair of doubles among his three hits and drove in four runs, while Currier singled, doubled, tripled, and scored a pair of runs. The District 3 champions scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning to ice the win.

Burlington American opened the tournament with a 5-1 win over Connecticut Valley South before falling to Essex Junction. Majors struck out eleven and allowed only four hits in the opening round win. Clancy Rugg was 3-for-3 at the plate, including a two-run homer in the first that gave Burlington the lead for good.

Burlington and Connecticut Valley South met again later in the tournament, when Burlington American used a pair of four-run rallies to post a 10-2 win and advance to the championship game. Rugg reached base four times in the rematch, and Jackson Grady drove in three runs and pitched three shutout innings. George Buteau added a two-run homer for Burlington.
