NOTE: Wabash defeated North Vernon 8-2 in the opening round of the Section 4 tournament, but the game was subsequently replayed following a protest ruling by Little League Baseball. Wabash protested that North Vernon’s pitcher was ineligible as he had also pitched in North Vernon’s most recent game. The protest was not resolved immediately and the game proceeded under protest, and despite Wabash’s victory, Little League Baseball’s subsequent ruling found the pitcher to be ineligible and instructed the teams to replay the game.
