Delaware State Little League Champions in the 1990s
Major Baseball Division

Three back-to-back winners highlighted the 1990s, and three Delaware leagues reached the Eastern Region championship game. Newark American fell to eventual U.S. champion Shippensburg (Pennsylvania) Little League in 1990, while eventual U.S. champion Toms River East American Little League (New Jersey) edged Georgetown in the 1998 region title game.

It was the second time the Garden State league had beaten a Delaware team in the region championship game: Toms River defeated Brandywine in the 1995 region title game, as the Wilmington-based league came within one game of a Little League World Series berth for the third time in eight years
