Beginning with the 2022 international tournament, Nevada's champion will compete in the newly-created Mountain Region tournament in San Bernardino, California, as the Little League World Series expands from sixteen to twenty qualifiers. Previously, Nevada advanced to the West Region tournament.
Mountain Ridge Little League from Las Vegas became Nevada's first-ever qualifier for the Little League World Series in 2014, and finished as the United States champion. Three different Henderson-based leagues reached the West Region championship game, including Green Valley Little League in 1983 and 2001, and Paseo Verde Little League in 2008.
